General X-Ray
Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine is a medical imaging specialty that uses small amounts of radioactive substances (radiotracers) to assess how organs and tissues are functioning, not just how they look.
Low Dose CT
Our low-dose CT scans provide detailed cross-sectional images to support the diagnosis of a wide range of conditions. At Mittagong Medical Imaging, we perform CT scans of the brain, chest, abdomen, spine and limbs, with a strong focus on image quality and patient safety.
We also offer low-dose CT lung cancer screening for eligible patients, with scans reported by experienced radiologists in line with national guidelines. A valid referral is required.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound, also known as sonography, uses high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time images of the body’s internal organs and tissues. This safe, non-invasive examination does not use radiation and allows clinicians to assess internal structures quickly and effectively.
